frts & ygrt

“With fresh and delicious fruits, the yogurt  tastes better. That’s idea of this product, having the same portions for those who want more fruit than the tipical yogurt, just half and half. This pack could be re-used as a glass and the impact to ecology is reduced with this materials (glass and carton). The name FRTS & YGRT, taking out the letters, the product could be read the same in english as in spanish. The logo takes reference of the pack, clear and simple.”

Theurel & Thomas

“Mexican studio Anagrama created a complete identity for the first patisserie in Mexico dedicated exclusively to French macarons. Called Theurel & Thomas, the store is predominantly white, allowing the colors of the macarons to deservedly draw the attention.”

Help Remedies

“ChappsMalina was approached by Help Remedies, a New York City-based startup with a big idea: to revolutionize over-the-counter medication. The resulting line consists of 6 products that are designed to guide you through the medication aisle with ease and comfort. From “help, I have a headache” to “help, I can’t sleep”, instead of yelling “FAST ACTING!” and “EXTRA STRENGTH”, the brand whispers in lower case empathy.

The product approach was simple; keep it clean and minimal with enough coding to clearly articulate my needs in a moment of crisis as directly as possible. Instead of lab coats, ChappsMalina chose to communicate content through the soft topography of the packaging material, that is reminiscent of a soft white pillow. To reinforce the Help Remedies message of responsibility, we designed the packaging using a highly innovative combination of paper pulp and co-molded corn-based plastic, making it completely compostable and a first of its kind.”

Modern Chocolate

Special Editions chocolate by Mary & Matt.

Mary & Matt draw inspiration from an eclectic array of favorites — rugby shirts, works by Sol LeWitt and David Hockney, and Neapolitan ice cream have all been reimagined as deliciously artful candies. They use the highest quality ingredients and craft their chocolate bars in small, handmade batches. They always have their eyes and taste buds open for new and surprising inspirations.

Their website is worth checking out: http://www.chocolate-editions.com

I love this Chocolate Pie Chart.

It consists of 70% dark, 20% milk and 10% white chocolate. YUM!

Babees Honey

Designed by Ah&Oh Studio

“A simple and litlle idea of packing for honey. Through this project we tried to encourage kids to reach for honey instead of refined sugar. Especially for them we create logo which smiles bee’s face. It’s hand calligraphed, custom made, and it softens the overall simple, geometric look of the packaging.”

Just add water…

Designed by Niklas Hessman

“A kind of taste pack for oatmeal. This package contains the right amount of oatmeal with added sugar and salt. You break your BREAK FAST pack over a bowl, add water and cook in the microwave. Then you can tentatively serve with cold milk. The idea is to target a new audience that otherwise would not eat oatmeal, but also to those who are usually in a hurry in the morning and tend to skip today’s most important meal, breakfast. Break it fast and have a BREAK FAST!”

Some more sweet packaging.

Designed by Samira Khoshnood

“Identity and package design for Meringue, an upscale dessert boutique, seeking to capture the airy whipped quality of meringue, the main ingredient in most of the store’s pastries. Three types of packaging highlight the form and color of meringue cookies and macarons, two of Meringue’s signature sweets.

The origami-inspired cookie box emulates the folds and peaks of meringue cookies. Macaron boxes and bags frame the beauty and color of the macarons. Letterpressed tissue and seals add a pop of color and tactile quality to white and clear packaging.”

LemonAid

Stunning work from the design studio BVD, for the German company LemonAid Beverages.

“They created a simple and eye catching design for the new drinks ChariTea and Lemonaid. BVD also selected a classic bottle design on which the graphics are silkscreened instead of using labels.”

Make sure you check out the LemonAid site by demodern.
